Located in Southern California, Eisenhower Health is a not-for-profit hospital seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Job Objective:
- Functions under the direction of an occupational therapist in planning and carrying out prescribed occupational therapy treatment to facilitate the rehabilitation of mentally or physically handicapped patients. Implements treatment plans and selects modalities to meet specific established goals. Conducts or assists with patient activities and maintains appropriate records. Assists in the evaluation of patient progress and discharge planning.
Occupational Therapy Assistant must meet the following qualifications:
Education
- Required: Associate’s degree or higher level degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)Required: Associate’s degree or higher level degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) Licensure/Certification: Required: Licensed by OT Board of the State of California; American Heart Association BLS Experience:
Licensure/Certification
- Required: Certification from OT Board of the State of California or eligible and American Heart Association BLS
Experience
- Preferred: Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) or healthcare experience
